CIMAT invites applications for two postdoctoral positions to be appointed for three years, starting between May and December of2018 (but the dates are flexible, other starting dates can be discussed).
The candidates are required to have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics awarded after January 2013 and by the time the appointment starts.
Applications from all mathematical areas developed at Cimat are welcomed (see http://www.cimat.mx/es/Matematicas_basicas).
The teaching obligations are low: one or two courses per year to Mathematics majors. The net salary is about 33,000 pesos, which is highly competitive in Mexico.
The application deadline is December 20th, 2017. All the applications must arrive by this date and must include the following documents to be sent electronically to: posdoctorados.basicas@cimat.mx
The results of the screening will be informed to the applicants by February 28th, 2018.
