Kurzweil-Stieltjes integral and its applications

The lecture will be devoted to the Kurzweil-Stieltjes integration. Our aim is to give a short overview of the state of the art and, in addition, to show some of its applications, mainly to functional analysis and to various kinds of generalized differential equations.
