How to Participate
The conference is open for attendance to researchers, professionals, students and individuals who are interested on the themes and topics of the meeting.
Participation in the conference may occur either by invitation or by submission of an application.
1) Invited speakers are plenary speakers and participants in the mini symposia:
a) Plenary speakers. A plenary talk consists of a fifty minutes presentation of the state of the art of a topic with an additional five minutes for questions and discussion.
b) Mini symposia participants. Presentations in mini symposia are fifteen to twenty five minutes talks with an additional five minutes for questions and discussion. Each speaker is invited by the mini symposium organizer of its respective country.
2) Contributed participants are those who are willing to participate with a contribution in the General Session or in the Poster Session by submitting an application. These submissions go through a referee process.
a) General Session. Participants have twenty five minutes presentations in any of the topics among the conference themes related to industrial, computational and applied mathematics. Submission of a title and abstract is necessary. Participants with an accepted contribution must register by the deadline.
b) Poster Session. Participation is through a poster in a topic related to the conference themes. A poster format involves the use of non-electronic visual aids for mounting on a 36 X 48 inches (92 X 122 cm) poster board. Submission of a title and abstract is necessary. Participants with an accepted contribution must register by the deadline.
Each contributor, either for a lecture or a poster, must submit a title and abstract.
Deadline for submission of invited or submitted abstracts: June 13.
3) General attending participants. All persons interested in computational, industrial and applied mathematics are invited to attend the Conference which offers the opportunity to listen, speak and interact with many specialists from México, Canada and United States. Registration and payment of the fee is obligatory by the deadline in order to have access to the talks, book of abstracts, materials, coffee, among other facilities.
